Dr Jorge Galindo - Irvine Therapist Experienced in Court-Referred Care

Dr. Jorge Galindo is a therapist with extensive experience providing counseling and treatment to individuals, families, and adolescents in Irvine, California. Over the years, Dr. Jorge Galindo has built a career focused on court-referred cases, including domestic violence diversion programs.. He shares a private practice with his wife, Miriam Galindo, Psy.D.

Dr. Galindo’s career has included directing a residential treatment facility for adolescent sex offenders, where he managed therapeutic services, case work, and program development. He has also worked with law enforcement through the Health and Human Services Group, during which he provided assessments, counseling, and crisis debriefings for agencies such as the United States Border Patrol, USINS, and DEA. His professional path also includes years of supervised training in court-referred therapy programs, where he gained significant experience in assessing, evaluating, and treating high-risk clients.

Dr. Galindo completed a doctoral internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, California, with specialized training in assessing and treating bipolar spectrum disorders. His education includes a master’s degree in psychology from Trinity College of Graduate Studies, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vanguard University, and advanced certification in psychoanalytic treatment from the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. He pursued his doctoral studies at the University of Southern California and Alliant International University.
